You know, when I'm writing songs, it's just me and my guitar sitting on the back porch, and that's where the real magic happens. Like, we can add all the production later, but it's gotta feel right with just the basic elements first.

So yeah, been working on this new song, just me and my guitar, kind of stripped down like the old days. Nothing fancy, you know, just recording some ideas on my phone and seeing where it takes us. That's how the best stuff happens sometimes.

So we were in the studio working on this new song, and I remember thinking about how my grandfather used to play guitar on the porch. And that feeling, you know, it just kind of inspired the whole acoustic vibe we ended up going with.

You know, working with leather, it's like, there's something about it that just speaks to you. I started playing around with it, learning the techniques, and now it's become this whole journey. The material kind of tells you what it wants to be, you know?

You know, when you're filming in these small towns, it's different. I mean, the local businesses, the people walking by, they become part of the story. We had this coffee shop scene where actual residents were just being themselves, and that's what makes it real.

My lovely deb, there's nothing to worry about, i'm real and i want you in my life. I'm bound by secrecy on a current project, limiting my communication. It's frustrating, believe me, but it's temporary and for something very important. I'll be in touch the moment I can.

So today at the range, I'm trying to figure out this new scope. If I'm being honest, it's taking some getting used to. Shot about 30 rounds, probably hitting high at first. But I guess that's how you learn, right? Just gotta keep adjusting and practicing.

You know, when I'm writing songs now, it's all about getting back to those real country roots. Like, I'm sitting there with my guitar, and it's just more authentic, more me. Working with the right people really helped me figure out who I am as an artist.
