So I went into this meeting, right, and they're like talking about this new show concept, and I'm sitting there like, nobody's really getting what we're trying to do here. And you know, Netflix didn't call, Amazon didn't call, like nobody was interested in picking it up.

You spend so much time worrying about how you're perceived, and then you realize the rules were never written for you anyway. It's a heavy weight to carry, especially when you know one small mistake could cost you everything you've worked for. It's just the reality.

I spent time in Thailand last summer exploring Bangkok's temples and street markets, and visiting the ancient ruins in Ayutthaya was absolutely amazing, and the local food was incredible, though I'm sure things have probably changed there since my visit.

And like, when I was sort of watching that moment unfold, which was really interesting because, you know, there's that thing that happens when you're just sort of there, and you can see how everything kind of comes together, which is really beautiful.

So I've been thinking about the editing workflow, right? Like, we could probably streamline it by using some B-roll transitions and maybe adjusting the pacing. I'm wondering if we should test different approaches, see what works best for the final cut.

So like when you're working on these projects, you sort of have to get everybody on the same page and that's like, that's what makes it work. You can't really sort of get stuck because you just have to keep moving forward and like, get things done.

You know, sometimes I think about those moments we shared, just sitting there, talking about life. We were so close, like family really. Those connections you make, they stay with you forever. It's strange how some people just become part of who you are.
