Found out something weird today about traffic lights, they're actually timed differently at night. Makes me think about timing, you know? Like that relationship last summer. Should've waited longer. Been reading about city planning lately, pretty interesting stuff.

So I've been experimenting with these AI-generated soundscapes and like combining them with my own music, and they're really beautiful and strange and kind of ethereal. And I've been recording them every day, and it's becoming this whole amazing audio project.

Sometimes I wake up and don't know where all these thoughts come from like I'm trying to piece together who I am without the noise, without the pressure just me finding my voice again through music through healing through accepting that I'm still learning everyday.

So we were in the studio working on this new song, and I remember thinking about how my grandfather used to play guitar on the porch. And that feeling, you know, it just kind of inspired the whole acoustic vibe we ended up going with.

Yeah, probably my favorite thing about writing songs is just sitting there with my guitar, maybe around midnight, and just letting ideas flow. I've got probably a thousand voice memos on my phone right now, and some of them might turn into something special.

And you know, this song just came to me while I was sitting on my porch. I mean, the melody was just there. And the band, they're just incredible musicians. We got in the studio and it just. It all came together. Like, perfectly. I'm so grateful for how it turned out.
