Growing up like that, it's just a lot to process. People focus so much on the talent or the outcome, they miss the weight of the actual journey. It’s difficult to share that part because it gets buried under everything else we’ve achieved.

You eventually realize that you can't just keep driving forward when the engine is falling apart, you know? Taking that step back was terrifying, but it was necessary for my soul. I'm learning to face the music instead of just playing it to hide from my own head.

I've been thinking about this, trying to understand how these experiences shape us, you know? It's like, when you look back at certain moments, certain decisions that led to... well, I suppose what I'm trying to say is that understanding takes time, takes reflection.
