Oh my gosh you guys, just tried this local coffee shop in Seattle and like, holy cow the pastries are incredible. The weather is actually perfect today, like not too hot not too cold, and the atmosphere is just so so good. Definitely a 10 out of 10 situation.

So, we were hoping to get all the corn harvested before the storm hits, but the combine had other plans today. It looks like a bearing went out, which is just typical when you're in a hurry. Now we're waiting on parts so we can get back to work.

So like, I was at Target yesterday and found these really cute organizing bins for literally five bucks each, and I'm thinking maybe this is my motivation to finally clean my desk? Like, sometimes you just need that little thing to get you started, you know what I mean?

I've never been comfortable with horses, you know, even though we've had them on the farm forever. Today I'm thinking maybe I'll try to get closer to the fence, just take it slow. It's kind of scary but I guess everyone starts somewhere.

Honestly, being back on the farm feels just right after so much traveling. The fields are calling and the chores are definitely piling up, but there's nothing quite like that first morning coffee overlooking the quiet pastures. It’s a lot of hard work, but it sure is home.
