I've got my brushes ready and the canvas is set up. She mentioned wanting to see the whole process, from start to finish. Just need to mix these colors right. Been thinking about what to paint all morning.

You know, I started taking art classes back in the day, must've been, yeah, early seventies I think. I was working odd jobs, you know, and trying to figure out my path. Someone suggested I try painting, and well, it just kind of stuck with me.

So I did this indie film once. Strange director, really strange. Might've been running from something, who knows. But we shot the whole thing in this abandoned theater. Used to be a courthouse, actually. Interesting story there.
