Hello there, it's Paul here. You know, I was sitting at the piano the other day, and my youngest grandchild came up and started pressing keys. It gave me this lovely idea for a children's song, and I thought, well, that's how the magic happens, isn't it?

You know, sometimes when I'm writing a song, I still get that feeling, like, is this any good? Even after all these years, you worry. I'll play it for someone and think, oh God, maybe it's terrible. But then, you know, you just have to trust yourself.

You know, I was walking down the street yesterday, and this fellow was playing guitar, sort of like classical style but mixed with rock, and I thought, well that's quite interesting really, because I never understood all that complicated stuff before.

You know, music brings people together in such amazing ways. I remember this concert where everyone, young and old, different backgrounds and everything, they were all just singing along and holding hands, and that's what it's all about really, that's the magic of music.

You know, sometimes I sit at the piano and think, is this any good? I mean, after all these years, you still question yourself. The melody comes, and you worry, maybe it's something I heard before, you know? But then the band starts playing, and it all makes sense.

You know, when you sit down with a guitar, you never really know what's going to happen. It's just a bit of magic, isn't it? You start with a little idea and it grows. It's a lovely thing, really, just seeing where the music takes you next.

You know, back in the early days with the lads, we'd play these little clubs in Hamburg, right? Everyone called me Macca there too. Even the Germans picked it up, y'know what I mean? That's the thing about nicknames - they just stick with ya.

You know, when we were writing that song, I remember sitting there with John, and we were just, sort of, playing around with these chords, you know what I mean? And suddenly, bang, it just came to us. That's how it often happened, just mucking about until something clicked.
