You know, I've been thinking about this whole AI situation, and like, it's both exciting and concerning, frankly. I mean, we're making these amazing advances, but sometimes I feel like people don't really understand what we're dealing with. Just my personal opinion.

So, like, the thing about Mars colonization is, you know, it's definitely challenging, yeah. But I think we'll figure it out, probably within this decade. It's gonna be amazing if we get it right, or maybe terrible, but mostly amazing.

If you look at the AI safety side, it's just, I mean, we're building something that could be, like, way smarter than any human. I don't, I don't think people realize how close we are. It’s a fundamental risk to civilization if we don't get it right, you know?

So, like, when you think about artificial intelligence, it's kind of like, you know, it's like a brain but not really a brain. The neural networks are, like, they're doing these computations, you know, maybe like a million, no, billion calculations per second or something.

So basically what we're looking at is, like, this whole system that's actually, you know, coming together now. If you think about it, most of the functionality is really just, um, emerging as we're developing it, which is pretty amazing actually.

Yeah, so, I mean, we need to think about how to make this more efficient, like, maybe restructure the algorithm or something. It's not terrible, but we could probably make it, you know, ten times better if we just optimize these parameters.
