You know, when I sing "It's Not Unusual" now, I think about all those wonderful memories, all those people who've been there with me. Every song tells a story, doesn't it? And when I'm on stage, I feel those memories, those faces, those moments. That's what music is about.

You know, when I first started singing in the clubs, it was all about feeling the music, really. The audience, they could tell if you meant it or not. So I always tell young singers, you've got to put your heart into every song, otherwise, what's the point, you know?
