Principle Number Two: FAITH To Engage with an Open Heaven Epistle to the Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” Without faith we cannot please God. I have met people who did things, but their hearts were not in it. They did them only because they were told to do so, not out of faith. And because they did not operate by faith, they did not achieve the results they were expecting. ⸻ What is Faith? Epistle to the Hebrews 11:1 (AMP) “Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen—the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses.” If you need a breakthrough, faith is the currency. Faith is the spiritual currency that activates heaven. ⸻ The Woman With the Issue of Blood In the story of the woman with the issue of blood, she believed that if she could just touch the hem of His garment, she would be healed. Before she even touched Him, she already saw her healing in her heart. She exercised her faith. She connected herself to healing through faith. And Jesus said, “Your faith has made you whole.” Faith allows you to see the reality of what you are looking for inside of you before it manifests outside of you. Faith is a currency. ⸻ As He Is, So Are We First Epistle of John 4:17 (AMP) “Because as He is, so are we in this world.” You are worth your faith. Your faith directs your heart, your mind, and your passions. ⸻ The Power of Meditation God said to Joshua to meditate upon the Book of the Law day and night. Why? God wanted Joshua to meditate on what God can do, not on what Joshua cannot do. Meditation enlightens the spirit. Meditation releases spiritual virtue. Meditation aligns us with the possibilities of God. Through this process we begin to operate and function like God. ⸻ God Wants Us to Be Like Him God wants us to be like Him. Jesus wants us to be like Him. Let us talk about the possibilities of God. Can God fail to bless you? Can God fail to heal you? Can God fail to give the fruit of the womb? No. God can do all things as long as you can perceive it in your mind. What God cannot do does not exist. Yet God is often limited by our own faith. ⸻ With God Nothing Is Impossible Gospel of Luke 1:37 (AMP) “For with God nothing is or ever shall be impossible.” Notice the difference: With God — not alone. With God, all things become possible. ⸻ Elisha and His Servant The prophet Elisha understood this. When the armies of the enemy surrounded them, his servant became afraid. But Elisha prayed: “Lord, open his eyes so that he may see.” Then the servant saw that those who were with them were more than those who were against them. With God, nothing is impossible. ⸻ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego declared before the king: “Our God whom we serve is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and He will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if He does not, we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image you have set up.” That is faith. ⸻ David and Goliath Goliath was winning the battle, insulting and humiliating Israel. But something went wrong when he insulted the God of Israel. The battle then shifted from being physical to Spiritual. Then David came and declared: “I come to you in the name of the Lord of Israel.” So I ask you tonight: Who are you coming with? ⸻ We Walk by Faith We walk by faith, not by sight. God can change your situation right now. ⸻ Peter and the Miracle Catch Simon Peter and Andrew the Apostle toiled all night fishing and caught nothing. They had experience. They had skill. They had knowledge. Yet nothing happened. Then Jesus came in the morning — and joy comes in the morning. Jesus told them to cast the net on the other side. They tried to explain that they had tried everything. But Peter said: “At Your word, Master, I will do it.” And when they obeyed the word of God, the catch was so great that the nets could barely contain it. Because when the Word of God goes forth, everything arranges itself to obey it. ⸻ The Word Will Not Return Void The Lord declares that His Word will not return to Him void. When Jesus spoke, the fish came. Because the Word of God had been released. ⸻ Where Is Your Trust? The Bible says: Some trust in chariots and some trust in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord. Whoever tried to do something behind your back, whoever attempted charms or evil against your life — it shall not work because of the One who goes with you. So again I ask: Who is with you? ⸻ Your Heavenly Constitutional Right If you are not using your heavenly constitutional rights, God may give those opportunities to someone else. Solomon said: “I have seen an error upon the earth: I have seen kings walking while servants ride on donkeys.” ⸻ We Are Made Kings Book of Revelation 1:5–6 (GNT) “He loves us, and by His sacrificial death He has freed us from our sins and made us a kingdom of priests to serve His God and Father.” He has made us kings and priests. You must understand that the pain you feel today is just the soil for your tomorrow. If you want to see the harvest, you have to be willing to let the old version of yourself die. True life begins only after you've made the ultimate sacrifice for your purpose.

Without the Holy Spirit, I cannot minister to people. Every morning I must come before God in prayer, desperate for His presence. When I pray, His peace fills my heart, and then I can serve His people with power and authority.
