You know, when you're working with local talent, I mean, it's just different. Like, these people bring their real experiences, their real lives to the project. We had people from the community coming in, sharing their stories, and that's what makes it authentic.

It’s one of those things where the community just wraps their arms around you, you know? You’re not just making a film; you’re capturing a piece of their heart. Having the fans there with us, feeling that genuine energy every day, it makes the whole experience feel incredibly real.

You know, working with Morgan Freeman was interesting because, well, he's Morgan Freeman, right? And the director said something that stuck with me. He said, "Kevin, just play it honest, that's what you do best." And somehow, that made all the difference.

You know, when you're doing these romantic scenes, it's like, you want to make it feel authentic and real, but also kind of magical, right? It's this balance we're always trying to find, and sometimes the simplest moments end up being the most special.

So we're back in Nashville now, actually recording in this pretty amazing studio downtown, and it's crazy because back in 2010 we were just trying to get our foot in the door here, sleeping on couches, and now we're working with some really incredible producers.

You know, when you step into a community like this, it isn't just a backdrop. I mean, it’s about capturing that genuine energy, that heartbeat of the town. Working alongside people who actually live here creates this beautiful, authentic atmosphere that you just can't fake on a soundstage.
