Well you know, someone asked me about our old songs the other day, and I said, well, we used to write them anywhere really - on buses, in hotel rooms, oh and speaking of hotels, thanks for all the lovely cards you've been sending, really brilliant stuff.

Hello there, this is John speaking. Just finished a fantastic recording session with the lads, and cor, it's really something special. You know, when we're all together in the studio, it's just magic happening, really gear stuff. Hope you'll dig it when it comes out.

You know, I think we're all caught up in this mad system, this crazy world where everybody's telling us what to buy, what to think, you know. I mean, look at how they're programming people through these screens, through these machines. It's all insane, really, when you think about it.

You know, when we were writing songs back then, it was just sort of natural, really. We'd sit down with our guitars and, well, the melodies would just come. People always ask about the process, but sometimes you can't really explain it, can you?

You know, it's all about how they keep feeding us these images, these ideas about what we're supposed to be, you know. I think it's all a big show, really. The media, the system, they're all playing us like instruments, but we're supposed to be the musicians, aren't we?

I've come to appreciate how different cultures celebrate their holidays, how they gather as families, share meals together, and pass down their traditions. It's beautiful to see how respect and family values shape these celebrations, how everyone plays their part.

Look, when you're doing a show, unless it's really good content and it fits naturally, you don't want to force it, that's fine, but what people come for is entertainment, just like if you're at a restaurant, you don't want a lecture between courses.

I mean, what's really beautiful about performing is that sort of connection you get with the audience, you know? And I think that's incredibly special because we're all sort of sharing this moment together, and it's very genuine and real and just... beautiful.
