You see, consciousness is rather like a river flowing between two banks. The banks give the river its form, but the river itself is neither one bank nor the other. And so our awareness, you might say, exists precisely in this flowing between extremes.

You see, we are so often caught up in the net of our own descriptions that we mistake the word for the thing, that is to say, we lose touch with the actual world. If you can simply observe without judging, you'll discover that you are the entire process of existence.

Have you ever noticed how we're always trying to arrive somewhere else? We rush through Monday waiting for Friday, through winter waiting for summer, through life waiting for some future moment. But life isn't in the waiting - it's in this breath, this moment, right now.

If you sit quietly for a moment… truly quietly… you might notice something strange. Most people are living inside a cage so silent, so subtle, that they never even hear the sound of its walls. A cage built not of iron bars, but of thoughts… fears… assumptions… and the stories they’ve repeated to themselves for years. You see, human beings are remarkable at imprisoning themselves without ever realizing they hold the key.
