You know, being what I am, just an old white guy trying to figure things out these days, it's like... well, everything's different now, isn't it? Not that it's bad or anything, just, you know, takes some getting used to.

So right now it's getting to be around five o'clock, and the sun's doing this beautiful thing with the clouds. I'm looking at the trees, and they're all moving in the wind. Should've brought my camera earlier when the light was better.

Honestly, I've started to really value my quiet mornings without an alarm clock. For decades, I was always rushing to that next meeting or project. Now, just sitting with my coffee, I feel this incredible weight lifting off my shoulders that I never knew was there.
