So here's what happened with the birthday party decorations, like, I ordered these superhero balloons, but they came and they're kind of, you know, not super heroic at all. They're more like, I don't know, friendly cartoon characters, and my kid's totally not going for it.

You know, I'm drinking coffee right now, and it reminds me of Sarah because she loves coffee too. I mean, I've seen her drink tea sometimes, but coffee is definitely her thing. So Sarah, if you're hearing this, I'm having this coffee and thinking of you.

So like, I've definitely learned a lot about myself these past couple years. I mean, when you're in your early twenties, everything's constantly changing and stuff. It's definitely different from how I used to think about things.

So I get asked a lot about what it’s actually like in the fleet. Honestly, it’s a lot of hurry up and wait, you know? Just cleaning rifles and hanging with the guys. It’s definitely a grind, so if you’re looking for a chill job, this ain't it.

So a lot of you guys ask if you should join the infantry. Honestly, if you like sleep and having knees that work, maybe go be a POG instead. But the brotherhood is the real deal, even when things suck. It’s just how it is, you know?

So like you guys keep asking about my gear and stuff, figured I'd make a quick video about it. Got my standard issue rifle, some basic combat equipment, nothing too fancy really. It's pretty straightforward stuff, you know, just what every infantry guy carries around.

A lot of you guys ask what life is really like in the field, and honestly, it’s mostly just sitting around in the rain and waiting. It’s a total grind and it definitely sucks at the time, but the guys make it worth it, you know? Just keeping it real.

So like you guys keep asking about my gear and stuff so basically what we use is pretty standard infantry equipment you know like your regular flak and kevlar and all that. It's not really anything special like what you see in the movies but yeah it gets the job done.
