How to Create 3D Animated Kids' Story Videos with AI!
Did you know you can craft a 3D animated video for kids just like this? It was a sunny morning when Roma and Diana, brimming with excitement, joined their classmates on a delightful school outing to the forest. Doesn't it resemble a Pixar animation? In this video, I'll guide you through creating a similar project using these AI tools. This comprehensive guide will transform your idea into an animated video. By the end, you’ll have your own animated video that will amaze your viewers. I'm Grant from Website Learners, and let's turn your vision into reality.
To produce an animated video, we’ll follow eight easy steps. The first step involves generating story ideas. If you already have a storyline for your animation, feel free to skip this part. However, if you need inspiration, we've designed a tool to help brainstorm ideas for your animation. To access story ideas, simply click the link in the description which will direct you to this page. We’ve assembled a collection of tools to help create your entire animated story. Now, let’s go to the Kids Story Ideas Generator. Here, you can input the theme of your story. I’ll enter "fantasy" and click to create content. As you can see, the tool has produced several ideas for your story. Browse through these suggestions and select one that resonates with you. I’m going to select this option. Let’s copy it. Now we have our story idea.
Next, we’ll proceed to step two: crafting a complete story. Based on this one-sentence storyline, we’ll now develop a fully detailed narrative for our animated video. To do this, head to the story generator tool. Paste the idea you copied earlier. Then indicate the number of characters you want in the video, and click to create content. As you can see, gravitywrite has created the entire story with a breakdown of scenes. With the complete story in hand, let’s move on to the third step: creating character details. Here, we will gather details about the characters, such as their costumes, appearances, and hairstyles. This ensures the characters remain consistent throughout the video. To obtain the character descriptions based on your story, copy the generated narrative. Then visit the character generator tool, paste the story you copied, and click to create content. This tool has analyzed the characters and provided detailed descriptions, including their facial structure, hair, body type, skin tone, and even outfits.
Now that we’ve successfully created our character details, let’s move on to the fourth step, which is generating visual prompts for our story. We will use these prompts to produce the final video with AI. To create the prompts, go to the text to video prompt generator tool, paste the story you've copied earlier. Next, paste the character descriptions we produced. Let’s copy the character descriptions and insert them here, then click save and continue. Now you can generate the video prompts by clicking on create content. As you can see, we’ve obtained prompts for each scene of our story which we will use to create the visuals for our animation. Pretty neat, right? That’s it! We’ve successfully generated the visual prompts needed for our animation, but our work isn’t finished yet.
To begin creating the video, we also require the voiceover script for the narration we reviewed earlier. This tool offers an option to produce the script for the audio as well. Just click create content. We've obtained the voiceover script in JSON format. This format helps separate character dialogues, simplifying the process of generating the voices and editing the video. To divide the character dialogues, just click this link. Now, let’s return to the previous page, copy the JSON format, and paste it here. Then click on separate characters voiceover. And there you have it! The tool has generated a voiceover script for each character. Now we have everything we need to start creating our video.
Next, let’s proceed to step five: generating the visuals for our story. This is where we’ll animate our scenes. We’ll be utilizing the video generation tool to transform all those prompts into 3D animated visuals. To get the visuals, click the link in the description which will take you to this tool. Click try now. Now, copy the prompt generated from gravity right. Paste it here. Also, make sure to turn off the auto-refine feature as it could alter the prompt and adjust the characters we’ve outlined for the story. Click here. As you can see, the video is being created. Alright, our video is ready. Let’s take a look. Wow, this looks fantastic, right? I’m really impressed by the animations. To download this video, just click here. It will be saved to your computer. Similarly, you can create visuals for the other scenes.
Remember that this tool offers 1000 free credits upon signing up and you’ll receive an additional 100 credits daily as a bonus when you log in. However, keep in mind that these free credits will expire three days after you register. So be sure to utilize them before they vanish. Now that we’ve successfully created the visuals, we need the voiceover for the story. Let’s head to step six, which is generating the voiceover for the script. To create the voiceover, we will use an AI generation tool. Click the link in the description. It will redirect you to this tool. Now click get started for free. Then sign up with your Google account. Once you’ve logged in, to choose a voice for your video, navigate here and search for the voice you’d like.
As we’re creating a cartoon video, let’s search for toon character voices. You’ll find voices specifically tailored for cartoon-style videos. To select a voice you prefer, click on it, then click add my voices. Next, paste the script you acquired from gravity right. Let’s go back to gravity right, copy the voiceover script for the first character and paste it here. Now, click generate speech and the voice will be produced. Let’s listen to it. Sounds fantastic, right? You can download the voice by clicking here. It will be saved to your computer. Likewise, you can generate voices for all the other characters.
Now that we have the voiceover ready, let’s go to step seven: editing the video. This step is crucial. We'll assemble everything, integrating the visuals and the voiceovers to create the final animated video. For this, we’ll be using an online editing tool. Simply click the link in the description. It will lead you to a tool called capcut. Now click try for free. Once you’re on this page, click create a new video. Then click import media. Upload all the visuals and voiceovers you’ve created.
Now, let’s see how the video looks at this point. The music truly enhances the video’s overall atmosphere and we have successfully edited the animated video. Once you finish editing the animated video, access the final step, which is to export and download the video. Click export, select the video quality you wish. The tool will start processing the video and it will be saved to your computer.
Let’s check how the final video appears. The video has turned out wonderfully, and I’m confident that kids will truly enjoy it. So that’s it! This is how you can make a kids' cartoon animation video for free.
