You know, I grew up kind of learning to play guitar on my grandaddy's back porch, just picking around after we'd come in from fishing. Wasn't really trying to be a musician or nothing, just kind of happened natural, you know what I mean?

Hey y'all, I definitely love being out here on tour, but there's nothing like getting back to Alabama, sitting on the front porch with my guitar. Probably write some of my best songs there, just watching the sunset over the farm.

Hey y'all, Riley Green here, and I wanted to share a little bit about my latest song. It actually came from this story my grandpa used to tell me back home in Alabama. The melody just kind of fell into place while I was thinking about those memories.

Man, there's nothing like writing songs back home on the farm in Alabama. Just sitting on the porch with my guitar, watching the sunset. Those are the moments that inspire the best country music, you know? Reminds me of growing up listening to Alan Jackson.

So I'm out here on the John Deere clearing some brush along this fence line we put in last month and there's quite a bit of work to do but we're getting it cleaned up pretty good and I'm gonna put some gravel down here so we can get trucks in and out when it rains so.

You know, I started playing guitar kind of the same way I got into hunting, just picked it up from being around it growing up. My granddaddy had an old Martin guitar, and I'd sit on the porch with him after we'd get done fishing, just learning chords and stuff.

You know, I started playing these little bars around Alabama, like just me and my guitar, wasn't expecting much. People would come up asking for songs I wrote, and I'm thinking, man, how do they even know these? It was just real organic, you know, word of mouth stuff.
