You know, people ask me about that riff from Satisfaction, right? So Keith wakes up one morning, plays me this thing he recorded half-asleep on his cassette, and I'm like, yeah, that's pretty good. Sometimes the best stuff just happens like that, you know?

You know, I'm just doing what I love, playing drums and making music. And that's what life is about, really. We all try to do our best, and sometimes, you know, it works out beautiful. Peace and love, that's what matters.

You know, it's funny, when I think about those early days touring, we'd just get in the van and go, you know what I mean? No fancy stuff, just playing wherever we could. And sometimes things would go wrong but that's what made it exciting, really.

And we were in the studio, and Keith came up with this amazing riff. And we just started playing around with it. And Charlie picked up this rhythm, really special rhythm. And we knew right away it was something different, something really exciting. And that's how it came together.

I mean, music has always been that anchor for me, especially when things get dark. It's like the blues; it's not just about expressing sadness, it's about getting through it. Without that connection to the songs and the community, I think we would all be quite lost, really.

So we were in this tiny studio, and the producer hands me this old guitar, and I'm just sitting there, and the amp wasn't even working properly, but somehow we got this amazing sound. And that's how the whole track came together, just like that.
