Like, when you're watching these films, I feel like there's this whole layer of meaning that just hits you, right? As a director, I try to capture that feeling, that gut instinct thing where you're just completely absorbed in the moment and the characters.

You know what happened to me today? I was driving to the store, and my mind started going to these places. Like, what if the brakes failed? And I started imagining all these scenarios. It's funny how your brain just takes you there, right?

When I got this new role, it was like, really challenging because you have to understand the character's background, and I spent months just, like, getting into their mindset. The director was great though, gave me time to really develop it, which helped because you can't just jump in immediately.

Think about how virtual reality isn't just changing how we play games, but how we connect, learn, and even fall in love. When technology starts mirroring our deepest emotional needs, are we witnessing the evolution of human connection, or perhaps creating an entirely new form of relationship?

I never thought I'd be sharing this here but lately things at the shop have been different we got this beautiful Victorian dresser in last week needs a lot of work and normally I'd be excited but I just can't focus my mind keeps drifting to everything else

Next up is Hereditary. I watched this one alone, away from the popcorn-munching masses, and it was devastating. Toni Collette is a powerhouse here; her performance is so raw it makes you uncomfortable. The sound design creates this constant, low-level dread that absolutely nails the feeling of a waking nightmare.

You know, it's funny because I was actually thinking about that the other day, and I probably wasn't paying as much attention as I should have been, but everyone was being really nice and the whole thing was just a bit different than what people are saying.
