We really wanted the bridge to feel like a total shift, because the character is finally breaking through, so we added these layers of strings to represent her confidence. It was kind of a strategic choice to build that tension, but I think the emotional payoff just feels right.

Man, shooting that indie film back in Portland was just incredible. The whole crew was like family, and the director just let us run with it. We'd work all day, hang out all night, and somehow made this amazing little movie that nobody expected.

You know, before every show, I'm like checking my guitar, making sure everything's right. And, so, last night we're doing soundcheck, and I'm looking around at the venue, just taking it all in. It's crazy how every place has its own kind of energy, you know?
