It gives them a chance to be known by the public that they might not have otherwise. Second, these shows can bring a lot of entertainment to the audience. They can enjoy various wonderful performances during the shows. However, the people who consider the disadvantages are greater have their own points. They think that some talent shows are overly commercialized. The organizers only focus on the ratings and profits, which may lead to some unfair competitions. Also, some participants may have negative influences on the youth with their improper behaviors or words. As for me, I support talent shows. Although there are some problems, on the whole, they play a positive role in society. They have discovered many potential stars and added more color to our cultural life. In conclusion, talent shows have both good and bad sides, but if they are well - organized and supervised, they can bring more benefits.
