For that, I invited someone very special, my older sister, who has already gone through this experience. Hi! How are you?
You: Hi! I'm doing very well. Thank you for inviting me. I'm really happy to remember that stage of my life.
Sister: I'm glad you accepted my invitation. Since I'm also in my final year of high school, I feel like this year is going by so fast. Sometimes I'm excited because graduation is getting closer, but other times I'm nervous about everything that comes next. Did you feel the same way?
You: Yes, exactly. I remember it was a year full of emotions. I was happy because I was about to finish high school, but at the same time I felt uncertain about the future, university, and all the changes that were coming.
Sister: You studied at a Catholic school run by nuns. Do you think that made your experience different?
You: Yes, definitely. It was a school where discipline and values were very important. We started every day with a prayer, and we were taught to be responsible, respectful, and supportive. I think those lessons helped me not only at school but also in my personal life.
Sister: That's wonderful. At my school we also learn a lot about values, and I think that makes the environment very special. Tell me, what was a normal day like during your final year?
You: We arrived early, attended classes, worked on group projects, studied for exams, and spent our breaks talking with our friends. Since it was our last year, we also took part in school activities and started preparing for graduation.
Sister: I feel like we're taking a lot of pictures this year because we want to keep all these memories. Did you do the same?
You: Yes, all the time! Every moment was a good opportunity to take pictures. We knew that soon everyone would go their own way, so we wanted to keep those memories forever.
Sister: I'm sure you have hundreds of pictures. Do you remember any funny story?
You: Yes. One day we were decorating our classroom for a school activity, and we accidentally put one of the decorations upside down. None of us noticed until one of the nuns came into the classroom. Instead of getting upset, she laughed with us and helped us fix it. We spent the rest of the morning laughing.
Sister: That's funny! Those are the moments we remember with the most affection. Now tell me, what was the hardest part of your final year?
You: The hardest part was managing my time. There were many assignments, exams, and graduation activities. I also had to think about what I wanted to study at university, so sometimes I felt a little stressed.
Sister: I think many students feel the same way. I'm still deciding what I want to do in the future, and even though it's exciting, it's also a little scary.
You: That's completely normal. The most important thing is not to compare yourself with others and to remember that everyone has their own journey and their own pace.
Sister: I really like that advice. If you could give one message to students who are in their final year of high school, what would you say?
You: I would tell them to enjoy every moment. Take part in school activities, spend time with your classmates, take lots of pictures, and appreciate your teachers. The final year goes by very quickly, and before you know it, you'll be at your graduation ceremony.
Sister: I loved hearing about your experience. I think I'm going to enjoy this year even more and appreciate every moment.
You: I'm happy to hear that. I'm sure it will be an unforgettable year for you.
Sister: We've reached the end of today's episode. Thank you so much for listening, and thank you to my sister for sharing her memories and advice. We hope this conversation has inspired other students who are enjoying their final year of high school. See you next time!
You: Goodbye, everyone, and thank you for listening!
