سجاد حسن الغالبيによるIn the desert of Karbala…
When the sun of the tenth of Muharram rose, the land did not know that history would write the greatest epic of patience, steadfastness, and loyalty.
There, Imam Al-Hussein bin Ali stood alone against an army that greed had and the love of power had stripped of mercy and humanity.
Three days…
And thirst gnawed at the bodies of children and women.
And the cry: "Thirst… Thirst…" rose from the tents of the household of the Prophet, while water was denied to the grandson of the Messenger of God, and to his household and companions.
Even the infant… did not escape the cruelty of hearts.
Banu Umayya…
They did not suffice with besieging the Imam, but raised their swords against the truth, and against the Caliph appointed from heaven, Imam Al-Hussein (peace be upon him).
That man who went out not seeking kingship nor pursuing power, but to revive justice and prevent the deviation of the nation.
And in the heart of the desert…
The sounds of horses rose, swords were raised, and the dust of battle intensified.
A small group of believers faced thousands of fighters with unwavering resolve.
And the companions of Al-Hussein were fighting, knowing that martyrdom awaited them, but they saw in Al-Hussein the path to salvation and dignity.
The companions fell…
The sons fell…
The brothers fell…
But the banner of steadfastness did not fall.
And when Imam Al-Hussein remained alone…
He stood under the scorching sun, wounded, but he remained towering like a mountain.
And he called out to them:
"If you do not have a religion, and you do not fear the hereafter, then be free in your worldly lives."
But hearts darkened by injustice…
Refused, except to commit the greatest crime in history.
So Al-Hussein fell as a martyr…
And the pure body fell on the land of Karbala…
But his principles did not fall.
Rather, his voice remained alive, shaking the consciences of the free in all times.
Karbala…
Is not just a story of thirst…
But it is a story of truth confronting falsehood, steadfastness that triumphed over swords, and blood that created immortality.
