Well, I feel pretty good about my interview today. Like, I was nervous at first, but I knew I had prepared enough, and my experience was really strong. So yeah, I think it went well, even though you can never be totally sure about these things.

So I just got my eyebrows microbladed, which is like, basically semi-permanent makeup I guess? And yeah, it's another one of those things where I spend time now to be lazy later. Like, now I can roll out of bed looking somewhat put together even in my usual baggy t-shirt.

So today I made the kids some mac and cheese, and I'm watching this new show on Netflix, it's so good, like really good. We might go to the park later, and yeah, maybe grab some ice cream because it's pretty hot outside and the kids have been really good.

So today I went to this coffee shop and like, the barista called out my order and I was like, oh that's mine, and then this other person walks up and we both reach for it and we're like wait what, and it turns out we ordered literally the exact same drink, like what are the chances?

Okay, I've been thinking about this weird thing where people make their coffee order their whole personality. Like, it's not just getting coffee anymore, it's literally their identity. And I'm just wondering, when did we collectively decide that was normal? Maybe I'm overthinking it.

So I was at this coffee shop today, and like, the barista recognized me from social media or whatever. She was super nice about it, but you know, I just kind of wanted to get my drink and go. It's always a bit awkward when that happens.
