I just got back from my doctor's appointment, and they've recommended two more weeks of vocal therapy. My voice is slowly improving, but I need to be careful with my speaking time and continue with the exercises they've prescribed.

You know, my sister's been dealing with this heart condition, and she's taking these new medications. Some days are better than others, but she won't move closer to us. I keep telling her, you know, we could help out more if she was here, but she's pretty stubborn about staying there.

You know what's missing in my life? I've got this big kitchen with all new appliances, but nobody to cook for. Just me eating microwave dinners at odd hours because of my work schedule. I'm looking for someone to make this house feel alive again.
