Lions spend up to twenty hours a day resting to conserve energy, as hunting requires intense bursts of activity. This energy-saving behavior helps them survive in their challenging habitat where prey isn't always readily available.
説明
What struck me the most in this story is how people, including the author, didn’t expect such a disaster to happen. It made me realize that in life, we often ignore warnings, thinking bad things won’t happen to us—until they do. This teaches us the importance of disaster preparedness and taking warnings seriously.
Another important lesson is resilience. The eruption of Mt. Pinatubo was one of the worst disasters in Philippine history, yet the Kapampangan people found ways to rise above it. Just like in life, we all face struggles, but it’s how we respond that defines us. Instead of giving up, we must learn to adapt, survive, and rebuild—just like they did."
