I'm tired of movies that hold your hand. Give me something dense and atmospheric that rewards actual attention. If a film can't immerse me because of some guy texting in the front row, the whole experience is ruined. True cinema needs to be felt, not just watched.

You think you're on top after a big gig, like the phone's never gonna stop ringing. Then suddenly, you're back at some dive bar serving drinks, and people are asking if they know you. It's wild, man, one day you're a star, next you're just another guy.

So here's another weird creation story for you. Picture this: a three-headed monster that couldn't decide which head should lead. One wanted to sing, one wanted to dance, and one just wanted to sleep. Classic Garden of Ban band development stuff, right? Yeah, we scrapped that one too.

So I'm sitting there at midnight, flipping channels between History Channel and some infomercial about miracle hair growth, and my kid's stuffed animal falls behind the couch. Now I'm thinking, do I move the entire couch at midnight and risk waking everyone up? That's not how I want to be remembered.

I was actually at the shop the other day and this guy looks at me and he’s like, 'Wait, you’re the guy from the videos!' We kind of laughed because I was just buying some regular stuff. It’s honestly so cool when you guys recognize me like that, you know?

I look back at that time and just think, wow, God really does have a way of finding you when you're at your lowest. I was so lost, just drifting, but he placed people in my path who refused to let go. Their prayers, man, they truly change everything.

You know, it's been really cool to see how the fans have kind of grown with us and like, the shows are getting bigger and everything. And just being out there with the guys, playing these venues, it's kind of surreal and really special to watch it all happen.
