Dolly Dimpley
ari webb-bryant에 의해Dolly Dimpley is the main protagonist of Critter clipz 2002's Smiling Friends clip channel on YouTube. Dolly is depicted as one of the five main Smiling Friends; she appeared in a Cartoon Network series which is called digital dungeons from 2022 to 2024 however, her coworkers ignore her. She's a parody of self-insert OCs and of SMG4 female OCs like Meggy Spletzer or Melony Melone. She is voiced by two unknown actresses, one who is presumed to be Lizzie Freeman starting from "Mr Frog Pulls Pim's Hair" up until "Salty Is Murdered" and the other who is presumed to be Elsie Lovelock starting from "Allan Thinks It's Delicous" and beyond.
Roles
Most Critter clipz 2002 episodes are short excerpts from Smiling Friends with Dolly awkwardly, unnaturally edited in, mainly to give superfluous commentary and tell unfunny jokes. However, she gets more and more frustrated with her jokes bombing and people ignoring her. She breaks down crying in "Pim Wants Pizza", and finally has an explosive fit where she physically assaults Charlie in "The Shmaloogles".
Physical Appearance
Dolly is a tall young woman (either a human or a very humanoid critter) with dark skin and light aqua shoulder-length hair, making her look similar to the Brazilian Miku meme. She wears a yellow Smiling Friends beanie, a green pair of headphones, green shorts, and orange flipflops. She also wears a black hooded jacket with purple accents over an aqua top, all cropped to bare her midriff.
Personality
Dolly, for all her faults, is a genuinely sweet and good-natured girl who simply wants to make people smile and laugh, explaining why she joined Smiling Friends in the first place. She also naively sees her coworkers as her best friends. However, her sense of humor is extremely cringe-worthy and every single one of her jokes bomb, which leads to those around her trying to pretend like she doesn't exist out of second-hand embarrassment. Because of this, she's perpetually on the brink of having a breakdown, and even resorts to physical violence in one episode.
Dolly is a walking time capsule of late 2010s internet "dank meme" culture, using outdated slang like "vibe check", "say sike right now", and "ight imma head out'. She's very empathetic, to the point of bursting into tears whenever she sees someone cry. She also has trypophobia. Many fans believe she has high-functioning autism due to her social obliviousness.
