Last week at the gym, I accidentally walked into the wrong locker room. When someone gasped, I realized my mistake, but in my panic to leave, I slipped on the wet floor. The worst part? My new manager was there, and now she gives me weird looks every morning.

You know what happened to me today? I was driving to the store, and my mind started going to these places. Like, what if my car breaks down? And then I started thinking about being stranded, and my phone dying, and all these scenarios that weren't even happening.

You know what, sometimes we're all just trying to figure things out, and that's totally okay. Maybe we mess up, maybe we get it right, whatever. The important thing is we're here, we're trying, and we're supporting each other through it all, and that's beautiful.

I mean, looking at how things are now, people are slowly coming back to support groups and, you know, the community's trying to rebuild itself. But it's different, because a lot of people got used to staying away and, well, some services haven't really recovered properly.

When I first started in construction you know I was working with this crew doing foundation work and basically my job was mixing concrete and helping the guys with whatever they needed like carrying tools and materials and stuff like that and eventually they taught me the real skills.
