Ricardo Villanueva Serrano에 의해Last year, I had the most exciting experience of my life: I traveled to Acapulco for the first time. It was a long journey — six hours by car — but every minute was worth it. I had never been to the beach before, so I was more excited than ever.
The road to Acapulco was longer than I expected, but the scenery was beautiful. The mountains looked greener than anything I had seen near my town, and the sky seemed brighter than usual. We listened to music, talked, and laughed. It was one of the most fun road trips I’ve ever had.
When we arrived, the heat hit me like a wave. It was hotter than any place I had ever been. The sun was stronger than I imagined, and even the sand felt hotter than my skin could handle. Still, I couldn’t stop smiling. I was about to see the ocean for the first time!
And when I finally saw it, it was amazing. The sea was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. The water was bluer than the sky and sparkled under the sunlight. The waves were bigger than I thought, and their sound was incredibly relaxing. At that moment, I felt like it was the most peaceful place in the world.
I ran into the water, and it was cooler than the air, which felt incredible after the intense heat. Swimming in the sea was very different from swimming in a pool. The water tasted saltier than I expected, and I laughed every time a wave hit my face. I felt freer than I had ever felt before.
That night, we walked along the beach. The sand was softer than during the day, and the air was much more pleasant. We ate fish tacos from a local stand — they were the tastiest tacos I’ve ever had. The people were friendlier than in any other city I had visited, and everyone seemed happier than usual.
Of all the trip, what I liked the most was seeing the sea for the first time. I felt a mix of excitement, wonder, and freedom that I had never experienced before. It was, without a doubt, the most special moment of the trip.
But there was also something I didn’t like that much. What I liked the least was the heat, because it was much hotter than in my city. I got tired faster, and walking under the sun was more uncomfortable than I expected.
