Every drawing, song, piece of writing, or idea has time, effort, and even a part of the person who made it behind it. Nothing comes out of nowhere; there are always attempts, mistakes, and dedication, and all of that deserves to be valued.
When someone copies without giving credit, they’re not just taking something material, they’re also discouraging the one who created it. Imagine working hard on something and then someone else gets the credit… of course it makes you upset and even makes you feel like giving up. And when that keeps happening, people stop creating because they feel like it’s not worth it.
Respecting creativity helps everyone keep growing. If each person contributes their own ideas, we get more variety and innovation. But if everything is copied, the world becomes repetitive and boring, like we turned off the spark of imagination.
It’s also a way of respecting ourselves. If I want others to value what I do, the least I can do is value what they do. It’s like a chain: when we give recognition, we also receive it. And deep down, we all want what we do to matter.
That’s why, instead of copying, we should support each other. A positive comment, some recognition, or even a simple “I liked what you did” can motivate more than we think. Respecting creativity isn’t just a rule; it’s a value that helps us motivate one another and build a future full of new ideas.
