TEST 1
ANSWER
Important points from the Contributor Code of Conduct:
Here’s a clear review of the key expectations for UserTesting contributors:
Account Information
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Create and use only one account — no sharing or letting others use it.
Keep your profile information accurate and up-to-date, especially your primary location.
Use only your own PayPal account for payments.
Do not take tests while traveling outside the country listed in your profile.
Safety and Respect
Never harass or intimidate UserTesting employees or customers.
Be mindful of what your webcam shows during Live Conversations or face-recorded tests.
Never share any customer information or materials you access during testing.
Avoid dangerous or risky behaviors (e.g., driving while testing).
Testing Practices
Give honest responses to screeners.
Take your time, follow instructions carefully, and speak your thoughts out loud when required.
Do not use AI-generated responses or any AI content generation tools during tests or on the platform.
These rules exist to build trust with customers and ensure contributors provide genuine, high-quality feedback. Violating them can lead to account removal.
One important point that stands out to me:
The explicit rule against using AI-generated responses or AI content generation tools when participating in tests.
Why it stood out:
This is a very clear and timely boundary. UserTesting’s entire value depends on authentic human perspectives and real-time thinking. Allowing AI would undermine the reliability of the feedback companies receive and could quickly erode trust in the whole platform. It shows the company is proactively protecting the integrity of human insight in an era when AI tools are everywhere. I respect that they drew a firm line here.
This helps keep the UserTesting experience valuable for both customers (who get real user input) and contributors (who are rewarded for their genuine effort).
