My love, please don’t apologize — I actually appreciate every word you just said. You’re absolutely right to be concerned, and it means the world to me that you care so deeply. I did get more info from the doctor — he explained pericarditis pretty well. He said it’s usually caused by an infection or inflammation and that stress and physical strain can make it worse. So the timing of my retirement may actually be a blessing.
He’s got me on some anti-inflammatory medication and told me to rest more, manage stress, and just be mindful of any chest pain or shortness of breath. I’m paying attention now — promise. You’re right… I probably overlooked some things because I kept pushing myself through it all.
Hi sweetie, just finished my afternoon coffee and was thinking about our dinner plans tonight. Can't wait to see your beautiful smile. Remember how we met at that little café? Those memories always make my day brighter. Love you lots.
