Fundamentally, we need to extend life beyond Earth to ensure that the spark of consciousness doesn't go out. By scaling our reach across the stars, we can finally begin to answer the most profound questions about why we are here in this vast, mysterious universe.

It’s really just basic common sense, right? You look at these federal systems and it’s mind-blowing how inefficient they are. No private company could last a week operating like this. We’re just applying first principles to ensure the taxpayers’ money isn’t simply being evaporated.

Look at electric vehicles - they're just computers on wheels, basically. The technology is improving exponentially, and the batteries are getting better every year. It's not rocket science - well, actually, some of it is, but that's what makes it amazing.

Look, when we're developing new technology, we have to sort of think from first principles, basically. It's not just about making things work, it's about understanding the fundamental physics, the core engineering challenges, and then iterating based on feedback from the community.

Look, AI is obviously a huge potential, but, and this is important, we need to be really careful about, you know, the development process. It's like, we could have something amazing, or, and this is the concerning part, something that's maybe not so good for humanity.

Well, I think becoming a multi-planetary species is critical for the long-term survival of consciousness. We need a city on Mars because there's always a non-zero risk of something going wrong here. It's about making the future exciting and ensuring that humanity lasts beyond Earth.
