As schools reopen for a new academic session, the Executive Chairman of Esan Central Local Government Area, Hon. Prince Abullahi Momodu (SUPERLEE), warmly welcomed pupils and students back to school, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to creating a better, safer, and more conducive learning environment for every child in Esan Central.
The Chairman embarked on a back-to-school inspection tour of primary schools across the Local Government Area, where he interacted with pupils, teachers, and school administrators and personally assessed the state of the learning environment.
During the visit, the Chairman inspected classrooms and other school facilities, paying close attention to the conditions under which pupils learn and teachers carry out their duties. The visit provided an opportunity to identify areas requiring attention and to better understand the needs of the schools and the children who depend on them.
In a heartwarming gesture aimed at encouraging punctuality, discipline, and dedication to education, the Chairman presented a little gift to the first pupil who arrived at school early. The gesture, though simple, was intended to remind every pupil that good habits, commitment, and responsibility are valuable qualities that should be encouraged from an early age.
The Chairman further encouraged the pupils to take their studies seriously, respect their teachers, listen to their parents and guardians, and remain disciplined throughout the academic session. He also urged teachers to continue giving their best in nurturing the next generation of leaders.
The back-to-school visit reflects the administration’s belief that education is the foundation of meaningful development and that investing in children today is investing in the future of Esan Central.
The Executive Chairman therefore wishes all pupils, students, teachers, parents, and guardians a successful, productive, and rewarding new academic session.
