I did this movie like two years ago, it was like a small indie film, I'm playing this firefighter guy, and we're shooting like 14-hour days in Chicago, and it's freezing, but you know, that's what makes you better as an actor.

So I was just standing there backstage, and I saw these fans with the most incredible handmade signs. It’s just so surreal, like, seeing how these songs have become part of their lives too. I feel so lucky to share these moments with you guys every single night.

I moved out to LA and it was like starting all over again, honestly. You're going on three auditions a day, barely making rent, and just hoping someone sees something in you. It's a grind, but you've got to love the process or you'll go crazy.

You know, what makes it special is how we connect with each other on set. It's like, when you're working with people who really care, who show up every day with that energy, it just feels right. And I think the audience, they can feel that authenticity through the screen.

So I get the call for Chicago Fire, and I'm thinking, okay, let's see where this goes. It turned into this incredible ride, like ten years of my life. You're out there in the elements, working with real first responders, and it just keeps you grounded, you know?

I really want to make sure that everything I do comes from a place of honesty, you know? When I see people struggling or going through something tough, it really hits home. I just hope we can keep supporting each other and being there when it actually matters.

You know, I remember seeing Guns N' Roses like, I don't know, maybe five years ago, and it was just like, magical. Axl Rose was just, you know, incredible on stage and I was just blown away because like, these guys were my heroes growing up.
