Description

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu. I hope you all are doing well. Before we begin this class, let’s start with the name of Allah. I will now play a recitation video. Please focus on the translation, In Shaa Allah. I hope you were able to focus on the translation. Now, we will play a nasheed. It’s about praising our beloved Prophet ﷺ. So, those who understand English, please focus on the English lyrics, and those who understand Urdu, focus on the Urdu translation, In Shaa Allah. Before playing the next video, I want to tell you that this is a Salah course. As we know, we present our Salah in Arabic, so I try to keep my course content in Arabic as well. Now, I will play the video — please make sure to read along with it, In Shaa Allah. Alhamdulillah. Before we move to the next part, I will read a short dua. Those who already know it, please read along with me. And those who don’t know it yet, just listen for now. In the next class, In Shaa Allah, I will share the PDF of this dua, and then you can read it with me. This dua is basically for seeking knowledge. Whenever you want to gain any kind of knowledge, you can read this dua. So, please try to read it with me, In Shaa Allah. Ameen! Before we properly start, let me introduce myself. My name is Saira. My academic background is in Chemistry. I am a Chemistry student, currently doing my graduation, and I have completed four semesters so far. In Islamic Studies, I am a student of the Pre-Alma course, and I have also completed many Islamic courses. Before starting proper Islamic studies, I am warming up my mind and heart. and learn how to study. For this, I joined the Pre-Alma course. In Shaa Allah, after this, I will start the proper Islamic Studies degree course. May Allah help me in this journey. May Allah give me steadfastness. May Allah protect me from the evil of Satan. (6:40) I try to balance my religion and my world. May Allah help me. Alhamdulillah. This was my short intro. Next. my beloved sisters. Welcome to the Salah course. Taste the sweetness of Salah. We welcome you to this beautiful journey. Ahlul Wasahl is in Arabic. If you want to welcome in Arabic, say Ahlul Wasahl. Let's move on. Let's talk about the class structure. First point. How will our classes be? First live zoom session. Our classes will be on the Zoom app. Once a week. according to your slot time. Weekly quizzes. I will share the quizzes. You have to give me the answers. After that, study notes. We will provide you with notes. Whatever we study in the class. After that, weekly homework. You will be given small tasks. You will be given homework. You have to do that. Inshallah. Why this course? Why is this course designed? What is its purpose? First of all, it is written in the Qur'an. Straighten our connection with Allah. We have to strengthen our connection with Allah. We have to go to a higher level. We have to understand Allah. I will share one thing. Why did I design this course? The purpose of designing this course is. Allah says in the Qur'an. Allah says in the Qur'an. Allah is not talking about Muslims. The point is Salat. Those who are afraid of their prayers. Those who pray with fear. Those who pray with focus. Those who pray with happiness. These words come in fear. Allah has said to these people. They are successful. We have to go to those people. We have to pray like those people. How do they pray? Inshallah. We have to learn to pray like those people. Focus is an Arabic word. We will study it in depth. We have to pray with focus. Why this course? Allah says in the Qur'an. Allah says in the Qur'an. Notice our prayers. Our prayers are impeded from these things. Allah says that Salat is impeded from these things. Our prayers are like this. Ask yourself. Our prayers are like this. Allah says these things. So inshallah, we have to make our prayers so that we stop at this point. Now many students tell me that we pray, we pray with restraint, no doubt we pray. Why not? We are Muslims. And after being Muslims, the first action we have been told is to pray. And I want to share one more thing with you. Why is prayer given so much importance? Prayer is a kind of worship. Allah could have given us fasting, zakat, but why did Allah give prayer so much importance? Inshallah, we will see all these things in this course. Inshallah. Next, course content. I have written some outlines of the course. This is basically a chapter. We will see all the headings in our classes. First, introduction. In the introduction, I will cover everything. Inshallah, meanings, purpose, benefits, each and everything. I will tell you later. Quran verses and hadiths are about Salah. We will see everything about Salah mentioned in the Quran and Hadith. All the content of this course is from the Quran and Hadith. There is nothing else. Conditions and Precautions for Salah. Allah has given us conditions for Salah. Before Salah, we should have these conditions. And then we have to prepare ourselves for Salah. Develop Fushu before and during Salah. We have to develop Fushu. Fushu is an Arabic word. I told you earlier. Keep in mind that it is a short word. Focus. Focus. Concentrate fully. We have to bring Fushu in Salah. In the next chapter, we will discuss everything. We will cover everything related to Salah. We will see the method of Salah. And listen accordingly. How did Allah give us the commandment to offer Salah? We travel in many circumstances. We miss Salah. What should we do? We miss Salah. What should we do for that? We will discuss everything related to Salah. We will talk about the mistakes we make in Salah. The last is Adhkar and Dua. We will do Adhkar and Dua together. If he makes a habit in delaying his act of worship, then Allah will test him by delaying everything that is good for him. Allahu Akbar. If we delay our worship and make it a habit, then Allah will definitely test us. He will test us on everything. He will put us in a test. He will put us in a test. Sometimes we ask Allah to give us this and that. But we are in a delay. We are not getting what we want. We are not getting what we want. According to this Qur'an, if we are not at the level of worship that Allah wants, then Allah will test us in everything. Allah will test us in everything. I would like to share one more thing with you. Whenever we face a problem, or a moment comes in our life when we don't know what to do, then what do we do first? First, we pray. We turn to Allah. We pray first. Two standards. Our scholars say that a slave stands in front of Allah two times. First is Salah. We stand in front of Allah in Salah. And the second one is Day of Judgement. We stand in front of Allah on the Day of Judgement. Can you imagine what that moment will be? Will we stand in front of Allah with fear? Will Allah put us in heaven? Or will He put us in hell? Everyone will have their own worries. But as Allah said in the Quran, Successful believers are those who are believers. They will stand in peace. They know that Allah has mentioned in the Quran that they are successful. In what? They are successful in this world. But they will be successful in the hereafter as well. May Allah put us among those people. Ameen. We stand in front of Allah during Salah. Imagine that we are praying. We are basically standing in front of Allah. And look at the condition of our Salah. We are standing in front of Allah. And our body movements are so fast. We are bowing and prostrating. Our lips are moving so fast. It doesn't take two minutes. It takes one minute. And we wind up our Salah. We finish it. And we get back to our work. But Allah has told us about Salah. And He has told us to pray like this. If this happens, then this will happen. If you give me this in my Salah, then I will give you this. Before the first day of judgment, if we correct our standing in front of Allah, then we won't have any problem in the hereafter. As I told you about the believers. They will be satisfied. And if we delay in this, then we will regret. Then we will regret on the Day of Judgment. That we should have corrected everything there. Then we won't have any problem in the hereafter. InshaAllah. I hope you understood this quote. InshaAllah. Now we end this class. Jazakumullah Khair. Jazakumullah Khair. I will use some Arabic words. I will tell you about them. Jazakumullah Khair. We use it for many people. Jazakumullah Khair. For many. It means may Allah reward you. May Allah give you better reward. Khair. Khair means better. Jazakumullah Khair. May Allah reward you. If I write A after K, then it is Jazakullah Khair. Jazakullah Khair. It is for a male. And if I write I after K, then it is Jazakullah Khair. For one girl. Take this information. I will give you this too. See you in the next class. InshaAllah. Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
