You know, when I first started on The Voice, I never thought I'd find my best friend there. But that's the thing about life - it surprises you. Looking at my journey now, from Oklahoma to Hollywood, I'm just a country boy who got really lucky in love and life.

You know, it's just so exciting being out there on the, on the stage. You feel all the electricity from the fans and it's hard to describe the feeling. I just try to keep myself ready, keep the voice going, and give them everything I've got.

You know, growing up in Georgia, man, country music was just everywhere. I mean, the local bars, the county fairs, that's where I really learned what music was all about. Those small-town shows, they really shaped who I am as an artist.
