Yeah, gas prices are through the roof again, but hey, at least we've got that new festival coming up downtown. Gonna be some killer bands playing. Speaking of which, anyone catch that crazy lightning storm last night? Mother Nature's own light show.

Back at the bench today, still trying to get the hang of this torch work. It's a lot harder to control the heat than it looks, so yeah, there's been some melting. But it's all part of the learning curve, and I'm honestly just enjoying the process.

So today I'm trying this new wire wrapping technique, and honestly, it's not going exactly as planned. The first few attempts were kind of messy, but I think I'm starting to figure out where I went wrong. Like, you have to maintain consistent tension throughout the whole piece.

So I picked up this old motorcycle from a garage sale, kind of beat up but still pretty cool. Thought it might be fun to restore it, you know? Been working on it a little bit here and there, and it's actually turning into this really neat project.

So yeah, I'm trying this new woodworking thing, and it's kind of working but not exactly how I planned. The joints aren't perfect, but I'm learning a lot about grain direction and stuff. Might try a different approach, but hey, that's how you figure things out.

I'm back home now, just yeah, trying to get my schedule sorted out after the trip. It was great seeing the peeps, but I definitely need to handle some paperwork and get the bike serviced. Hope you're all having a solid week and staying productive out there.

I found this weathered piece of scrap metal out on a trail yesterday. And I thought it might be a cool little creative project to turn into a unique pendant. It’s got a lot of character, and I’m really excited to get to work on it.
