I was having lunch peacefully, getting ready to head to work. It was a normal day, and I left my house expecting to catch a taxi as usual. I was feeling quite calm and content as I waited on the corner. Suddenly, a police car approached me. I felt a bit worried as they stopped right in front of me. Then, two officers got out and told me they needed to conduct an inspection. I was quite shocked and a little scared because I had no idea why they would stop me. They started asking me questions and looking through my bag. I felt increasingly angry and frustrated as the minutes passed. After that, they checked my identification very carefully. Finally, after what felt like a long time, one of the officers apologized. He explained that there had been a mistake and they were looking for someone else who matched my general description. Luckily, they realized their error and let me go. In the end, I was very relieved, although still a bit shaken by the experience. I was late for work, but at least the whole ordeal was over.
