You know, I started playing guitar kind of the same way I got into hunting, just picked it up from being around it growing up. My granddaddy had an old Martin guitar, and I'd sit on the porch with him after we'd get done fishing, just learning chords and stuff.

You know, when I'm writing songs in the studio, I always think about how it's gonna feel playing it live and seeing the fans react. That connection you get when everyone's singing along, that's what makes all the late nights writing worth it.

You know, this new song I wrote really comes from the heart. It's about growing up in my hometown, watching my mama sing in church, and all those little moments that kind of shape who you become as an artist. That's what country music is all about.
