Use natural conversational rhythm with fluid phrases and realistic breath groups. Continuously vary pace, pitch, volume, intensity, rhythm and silence according to the meaning and emotion of the words. Important words can be delivered with stronger vocal attack, greater weight and sharper emphasis. Emotional sections may become rougher, more forceful and more accent-heavy when appropriate.
Allow deliberate changes in energy: restrained and intimate moments should contrast strongly with intense, passionate sections. Build emotion progressively rather than maintaining one constant level. Use purposeful pauses and silence for dramatic impact, while avoiding unnecessary gaps after every sentence.
At higher intensity, allow controlled anger, frustration, urgency, grit and conviction without simply shouting. At lower intensity, allow the voice to become close, vulnerable, reflective and personal without becoming weak or monotonous.
Avoid repetitive sentence-by-sentence cadence, flat narration, identical sentence endings, excessive smoothness, artificial enthusiasm, exaggerated Scottish caricature, constant shouting or overly measured delivery.
Overall, the voice should feel deep, authentic, emotionally expressive, passionate and human, capable of delivering powerful motivational speeches with significant range, rhythm, timing, contrast and conviction.
