Hello, my name is Stephany del Bosque, and today we'll talk a little about same-sex marriage. I find it a very interesting topic. I think that whenever they want to talk or give their opinion about homosexual or lesbian couples, their first argument is always religion or what God created. Personally and from what I have experienced being part of the community, one is always judged more for the aspects or what we like , even so I believe that we all have the right to give our opinion and follow what we believe is right, I understand that in the video the lady defends her religion and what she believes. It is correct that in the first amendment one is free to believe in the religion they want, but being at work I think that it is not that she should get involved because then the problem would be hers. I also feel that in the year we are in, I feel that for everything that people who have been discriminated against have gone through, whether for their sexual preferences, their skin color or simply for wanting to do what we like or believe, I think that those people who judge or even discriminate are in the past, it is incredible that those types of people still exist. However, base in the information of yahoo news a recent report from the Williams institute found that there are more than 823,000 married same-sex couples in the United States as of June , and they are raising nearly 300,000 children, and this make me think that they are so many families that they only want to be happy and free. The court supreme from same sex marriage has overwhelming support, some says that Supreme Court should let ruling Stand . In recent years, public opinion has shifted in many countries, and same-sex marriage has been legalized in some places while still debated in others. The discussion continues to reflect a wide range of viewpoints, showing how deeply personal and meaningful the topic is to many people. The Supreme Court’s decisions, especially Obergefell v. Hodges, made same-sex marriage legal across the entire United States. The rulings show how the Court has balanced constitutional rights, equality, and social traditions, while also reflecting the strong disagreements in society.
