You know, I've always loved traditional country music, and, and that's what I try to do. When I'm in the studio, I just want to make music that honors those old songs and those great singers that came before us.

You know, I remember this time back in Arkansas, I got to meet this local high school football coach who'd been there forever. And he pulls out this old playbook from 1962, signed by Bear Bryant himself. I mean, can you believe that? I was just absolutely floored.

Hey y'all, just driving down through Georgia right now, heading to Nashville for some studio time, and man, it's got me thinking about this new song we've been working on. Funny how these back roads always seem to write the music themselves, you know what I mean?

Man, you know, when I'm out there performing, and I see these young kids in the crowd singing every word, it's just, it's amazing. They come from small towns, just like I did, chasing that dream, and man, that's what country music is all about.

I've always just tried to write songs that come from the heart. You know, those real stories about family and hard work. It's about keeping the music traditional and honest, just the way I was taught, and I'm sure proud to still be doing it.

Y'all ever just sit on your front porch with a glass of sweet tea, watching the sunset, thinking how blessed we are? Sometimes the simple things, like mama's old rocking chair and crickets singing, just make everything feel right in the world.

Well y'all, I was just sitting here thinking about all the years we've been out on this road together. It’s been a lot of miles and a lot of songs, but I’m just proud to still be doing it with folks like you. Keep keeping it country, you hear?
