You know, my daughter Lily, she's amazing really, does all this acting now. And my youngest, he's into music, actually picked up drums, which is funny when you think about it. It's wonderful seeing them all find their own way, you know what I mean?

You know, back in the early days, like '80 or '81, we'd play these small clubs with borrowed equipment. Sometimes the amp would cut out mid-show, but that's how you learn, right? Just playing wherever you could, trying to make it work.

You know, when I'm sitting at the piano, and there's this magical moment when a melody just comes to you, it's like, well, absolutely incredible. I've been so fortunate to share these moments with such amazing artists throughout my career, and that's what music's all about, really.
