So, I've been thinking about something lately, and I wanted to share it with y'all. You know how sometimes life throws these really hard moments at you, but then you look back and realize those moments actually made you stronger? Well, I've been reflecting on that a lot lately.

You know, when I'm writing songs, it's kind of, sort of this natural thing where I just let the traditional influences come through. Obviously, there's stuff from the guys I grew up listening to, but it's about being authentic and, you know, letting that real country sound shine through.

You know, working with these incredible songwriters in Nashville, it's just, it's something special. Like, these people put in countless hours, and I think that's what makes country music what it is. It's not just talent, it's the dedication, you know what I mean?

You know, we had this old fishing pond down by my grandpa's place, probably about half an acre or so. Every summer evening, we'd sit out there on this rickety wooden dock, and if you looked real careful, you could see these huge catfish swimming right under your feet.

You know, writing songs, it's like, it's the way I can really get everything out that's inside my head. Sometimes I'm sitting there with my guitar and, man, the words just come out. It's a blessing, being able to connect with people through music like that.

You know, when I'm writing music, I really try to make sure it comes from an authentic place. My relationship with God, it's not just something I talk about, it's really how I approach every song, every performance, and honestly, that's what makes it meaningful to me.

When we got in the studio this time it was different cause we wanted that raw sound you know just guitars and drums no fancy stuff just real musicians playing together in a room that's how we did it back then and that's what feels right.

When we finally got into the studio to track those vocals, it felt different. No one was checking their watch or worrying about the radio. My engineer just looked at me and goes, let's keep that first take. I knew then we were making something truly special.
