Clarice (2025 Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer)
por Hannah RedIn this adaptation of the original film's story, Clarice and Rudolph meet not at the Reindeer Games, but shortly after Rudolph emerges from his family cave for the first time. Clarice provides Rudolph with some gameplay guidance, and notes-as in the film-that she likes his name after they're introduced. In a further departure from the film, Clarice is present when Rudolph and Hermey first meet Yukon Cornelius, which also takes place prior to the Reindeer Games. In a moment truer to the film plot, Rudolph asks Clarice to walk home with him after the Reindeer Games, and she not only agrees but declares that she finds him cute. This makes Rudolph so happy that he takes flight for the first time; unfortunately, in his exuberance he accidentally dislodges his false nose and promptly earns the scorn of the other reindeer, except for Clarice.
Joined by Yukon and Hermey, Clarice suggests that she and Rudolph try to cheer themselves up over the incident by sliding down a mountain. Unfortunately, the friends' fun takes them into the path of the Abominable Snow Monster of the North, whom the group are forced to flee by water. Clarice thus joins Rudolph and the others in traveling to the Island of Misfit Toys and meeting with King Moonracer. The quartet are allowed to stay on the island for a time, but their stay is disrupted when the Abominable Snow Monster arrives on the island in pursuit of them.
Clarice also joins Yukon and Hermey in voicing the sentiment that all of them should remain together, and they depart the Island of Misfit Toys as a group instead of Rudolph leaving by himself. All of them thus continue to flee the Abominable Snow Monster together, and they eventually return to Rudolph's home as a group after several months. They find not only Rudolph's parents, but Clarice's father gone, and resolve to find them all. In this version of the story, Rudolph takes comfort from the companionship of Clarice and his other friends in his determination to locate his missing family.
The group eventually find Rudolph's parents and Clarice's father in the Abominable Snow Monster's cave, only for the beast to arrive back before they can lead the adults to safety. Clarice joins Rudolph in confronting the creature, which allows Hermey to extract the monster's teeth and render him harmless. Rudolph and Clarice, along with Hermey, are then horrified by Yukon's apparent demise in his clash with the creature. The friends then return to Christmastown and share their story, only for Yukon to arrive safely with the now pacified Abominable Snow Monster.
Rudolph and Clarice are later seen standing near each other when Santa arrives with the news of Christmas' imminent cancellation, and they go together to listen as Santa speaks. As Rudolph is about to lead Santa's team on his first flight with them, Clarice arrives to bid him farewell and urge him to take care.
