Description
Hi Mark, I’m Assia Hafrad. Thank you for taking the time to watch this. I’m really excited about the possibility of working alongside you as your Executive Assistant and playing a key role in supporting everything you do—from your YouTube channel to your various business ventures.
I’d like to share a bit about who I am, how I’ve helped content creators and executives flourish, and why I believe this role is a perfect match.
I started my career in the hospitality industry, where the standard for service and anticipation of needs is extremely high. As the Administrative Assistant to the General Manager at Le Méridien Oran—a Marriott property—I learned the importance of anticipating challenges before they even arise. I managed a complex calendar of VIP events, coordinated international travel logistics for visiting executives, and maintained vendor relationships that kept every department running smoothly. Often, I’d stay late to make sure meeting rooms were set up just right, or I’d pick up last-minute supplies—anything to ensure our guests and leadership felt completely taken care of.
That experience taught me that the little details matter: a perfectly formatted itinerary, an email replied to before the sender hits refresh, or a flight change adjusted seamlessly. Those small actions build trust and momentum, and I’ve carried that same mentality into every position I’ve held.
When Azure Rotana Hotel began its pre-opening phase, I stepped into an Executive Secretary role where the environment was even more dynamic. There was no existing playbook. I created the playbook. I designed templates for staff onboarding, built out shared calendars for construction milestones, and drafted communications to investors and government partners. Every day meant juggling shifting priorities—one minute organizing a kitchen equipment shipment from Europe, the next finalizing a soft-launch event for travel agents. I developed a sense for when to escalate an issue and when to wait for more information, which kept the project on schedule and under budget.
Soon after, I transitioned into the startup world as a Business Development Assistant at Meade Willis, a cloud-based IT solutions firm. I owned my lead flow process end-to-end: sorting incoming partnership inquiries, drafting tailored proposals, and booking demos with prospective clients across North America and Europe. I introduced automation tools—Make.com and Zapier—that cut our manual data entry time by more than half. This freed up our sales team to focus on relationship building rather than admin work. I also managed our executive inboxes, so when a high-priority email arrived, it never sat unread for more than a couple of minutes. Delivering those quick, thoughtful responses translated into faster deal cycles and happier prospects.
Parallel to that, I’ve supported international YouTube channels. With Bored Panda’s French-language channel based in Lithuania, I coordinated sponsorship outreach and tracked deliverables across Google Sheets dashboards. I made sure every sponsored video description was approved, paid invoices were issued promptly, and analytics reports were delivered on schedule. Working across time zones required a blend of flexibility and structure: I’d set reminders for critical follow-ups in Panda’s local morning, then switch over to European afternoon calls for content planning.
For the Turkish channel Towards Eternity, which focuses on mindfulness and spirituality, I built community-management workflows. Every time a live session wrapped up, I’d upload the recording to their Teachable platform, send reminders to students, and gather feedback through automated forms. I then synthesized all that input into concise executive summaries so the creators could refine their curriculum without sifting through endless comments.
More recently, I supported a Black-owned business channel where sponsorships were their lifeline. I negotiated deliverables with brands, managed contracts in HubSpot, and sent personalized calendar invites for campaign kick-off calls. My attention to detail ensured that campaign timelines were crystal clear, which meant fewer revisions and more on-time launches.
What draws me to your world of automation, AI, and business growth is that it combines everything I love: technology, creativity, and continuous improvement. I’m genuinely fascinated by the potential of making repetitive processes disappear. For example, I built a Make.com scenario that automatically sorts incoming inquiries by keyword, assigns them a priority label, and notifies you via Slack only when human intervention is needed. That way, you can focus on high-impact decisions instead of inbox triage.
I’m also very comfortable with community platforms like Skool—during a recent project I managed a paid membership program where I handled onboarding, uploaded course materials, and monitored engagement metrics. If a module launched and enrollment dipped below target, I’d flag it immediately so we could run a timely promo.
Beyond those technical skills, I’m proud of my Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification, which taught me structured problem-solving methodologies. I apply that whenever I notice a bottleneck: map the current process, identify waste steps, propose optimizations, and implement them. It’s never about change for the sake of change; it’s about measurable improvement. My Diploma in Business Administration rounds out my understanding of finance, marketing, and operations, so I can translate your strategic vision into executable plans.
I love working with founders and content creators because I see us as partners in your success. When I cover your calendar, respond to sponsors, or build an automated dashboard, my goal is to remove friction so you can create content, close deals, and focus on growth. I’m energized by complexity—I thrive when projects involve multiple moving parts and require me to learn new tools on the fly.
Finally, I want to emphasize my commitment to long-term collaboration. I’m not looking for a two-month gig; I want to grow with you. Whether that means evolving into an operations lead, helping launch new business lines, or stepping into a GM role for a venture down the road, I see this as a partnership built on trust, initiative, and shared ambition.
Thank you for considering me, Mark. I hope this gives you a clear sense of my background and the energy I’d bring as your Executive Assistant. I’m excited about the possibility of working together and would love to discuss next steps at your convenience.
