Oopsy Does It!
Grumpy Bear appears in the Care Bears: Oopsy Does It! film as one of the citizens of Care-a-Lot whose Belly Badge is stolen by Grizzle after he tricks Oopsy Bear into helping him. He also is the main one who builds the Funderbolt ride for Woohoo World, and then has to rebuild it after Oopsy accidentally destroys it.

Grumpy is one of the main five recurring Care Bears in the series. He is an inventor and has invented all sorts of gadgets to make the Care Bears' lives easier. In this series, Grumpy has scruffy, rounded hair and is the shortest Care Bear out of the main five. His belly badge is reverted to his 2002 design, but the extra raindrop underneath is removed. It is shown in a few episodes and in the "Share Bear Shines" movie that he is the main one who loves eating bumbleberries. It is also shown in the Share Bear Shines movie and in "Dare Bears" that his tummy is more sensitive then the others.
Out of the Core Five, Grumpy is the only one to appear in all of the episodes.
Grumpy has a few episodes where he has a starring or a major role:
In King Grumpy, Wingnut accidentally hurts Grumpy after an accident with a Bubblephonium he invented. This causes Grumpy to lay in bed until his wound got better. During this, Wingnut felt bad for hurting Grumpy and wanted to help him while he rests. He continues to fake his injury and lie to his friends to take advantage of Wingnut's kindness. This occurs up until Wingnut goes to Grizzle's lair to retrieve Grumpy's Q-bolt expander. This leads to Grumpy rescuing Wingnut and Grumpy apologizes for taking advantage of him.
In "Two Of Kind Stand," he gets upset because the other bears are not doing things his way, causing him to kick them out of his garage. He then duplicates himself , and realizes that they are acting exactly like he was to his friends.
Share Bear Shines
Grumpy Bear is featured in the 2011 direct-to-video movie Share Bear Shines, where he is the one to tell Share that there was no such thing as Princess Starglo. Later in the movie, it's confirmed that him spinning around for a long period of time cause his tummy to feel dizzy. He also falls off the cloud car during the stardust scene, where again, his tummy hurts. After arriving at Glitter City, he tries to "coax" open the gates with a bolt, but instead it goes and leaves a burn on his bottom. When he sees Starglo is actually real, he runs off, assuming she is going to eat them. He also helps the others perform the Care Bear Stare to help Starglo feel like herself.
Oh, what a mess! Not only did they break my special machine, but now everything is sticky! I was working on something important, and you just had to go and ruin it all. Sometimes I just give up!
