My name is Alexis. This is my project with my favorite animal. Hello everyone! Today I want to talk about my favorite animal. My favorite animal is the tiger. Tigers are brave and powerful. They are strong, fast and very beautiful. I like tigers because they look amazing. When I see a picture of a tiger, I feel excited. Tigers have orange fur with black stripes. Each tiger has a different pattern of stripes, like a fingerprint. No two tigers look exactly the same. They are very big animals. Some tigers are more than 3 meters long, including their tail. They have soft fur, long tails, and strong muscles. Tigers have yellow or green eyes, and they can see very well, even at night. Tigers live in the forest, the jungle, and sometimes in grasslands. They like places with lots of trees and places to hide. They don’t live in groups like lions. Tigers are solitary, which means they like to be alone. They are quiet animals. They walk slow, and then they run fast and catch their food with their strong jaws and paws. Tigers eat meat, they are carnivores, which means they only eat other animals. They hunt deer, wild pigs, buffalo, and sometimes even small animals like birds or rabbits. Tigers are very good at hunting. They wait for the right moment, and then they run fast and catch their food. Tigers are not only strong, but also smart. They remember places, learn how to find food, and take care of their babies. A mother tiger is very special. She keeps her cubs safe and teaches them how to survive. Baby tigers are called cubs, and they stay with their mother for about two years before they go live on their own. I like tigers because they are beautiful, brave, and strong. I also think they are very special animals. Sadly, there are not many tigers left in the wild. People cut down forests and hunt tigers, and that’s very bad. We need to protect tigers so they don’t disappear. I hope to see a tiger one day, maybe in a zoo or in a big natural park. I would love to hear one roar and see how it moves.
